Full Group Meetings
The Health Consortium hosts four to five Full Group Meetings annually, open to everyone! These meetings alternate between in-person and virtual formats, offering opportunities to build capacity for delivering high-quality, equitable, and culturally responsive care. Attendees can learn about relevant programs and services in the San Gabriel Valley and network with other partners serving similar vulnerable communities.
The Integration Planning Committee (IPC) organizes Full Group meetings and the annual Summit. Drawing on input from Health Consortium partners and the Steering Committee, the IPC ensures each convening delivers meaningful, relevant content. Presentation topics are carefully selected to be relevant to physical, behavioral, and social health providers in the San Gabriel Valley.
Past Full Group Meeting topics have included:
- Elevating the Health and Wellness of African American Infants and Moms in the San Gabriel Valley: SGV AAIMM Community Action Team.
- COVID Vaccine Updates: Safety, Misinformation, Myths, Science, Distribution.
- Racism and the Impact of COVID-19 on Asian Americans’ Mental Health.
- CalAIM and What it Means for Community Providers.
- Intersection of Public Transportation and Access to Healthcare.
- Reproductive Health Policy: Federal, State, and Local Landscape in 2022.
