Jasmine Sharma, MD, MPH

Jasmine Sharma MD, MPH Dr. Sharma serves as Medical Director for the Community and Field Services division of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH) for Service Planning Areas 3 (San Gabriel Valley) and 4 (Metropolitan L.A.) where she leads communicable disease control and outbreak management, including case and contact investigation for monkeypox. Prior to her current position, she worked with LA County DPH in COVID-19 outbreak management, including in leading the Educational Sector Outbreak unit. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Boston University and an MD from New York Medical College. She completed her residency in General Pediatrics at LAC+USC Medical Center. She has practiced pediatric medicine in various settings, including LA County’s three Juvenile Halls, the Los Angeles Unified School District, and in private practice coverage. She has also worked with the California Children’s Services (CCS) program as Medical Therapy Program pediatrician and as an Assistant Medical Director

Eli White, Account Services Manager II
Eli is the section manager for the Account Services team at Covered California. He joined the team in late 2019 as the unit manager responsible for Navigator grant program support staff. A year later he was promoted to his current role, overseeing enrollment assistance programs, and working with community-based organizations to engage and support the hardest to reach Covered California consumers. Eli’s previous state department experience includes the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, the Department of General Services, and the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He has extensive contracting experience and a background in health grant management. Eli is originally from Australia, and moved to Sacramento, California in 2008, where he lives with his wife and two children.

Bridget Bridget Freeley is a Cancer Support Strategic Partnerships Manager for the American Cancer Society. She works with health systems, hospitals, clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and other health partners in the Los Angeles area to assist them with cancer prevention efforts such as early detection and screening, quality improvement work and provider and patient education. She also provides information and resources about access to care initiatives and support resources to assist those with cancer and their families through their cancer journeys. Bridget is a graduate of Haverford College in Philadelphia and has spent her whole career in public health working to improve the quality of care in various areas including cancer, cardiology, palliative care, and health literacy.
Dan Witzling is Senior Executive Director for the American Cancer Society, with oversight of the greater Los Angeles area to ensure relevance and high impact. He has been with the organization for more than eight years, working alongside a Board of Directors and a diverse staff team to advance health equity and to accelerate scientific advances. Previously, he served with BREATHE LA, Cerrell Associates, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters, and other Los Angeles area organizations.   Dan continues to serve on boards and executive roles with Healthy Air Alliance, San Gabriel Valley Health Consortium, Hollywood Theater Foundation, American Legion Squadron 43, Faith2Green, amongst others. He has an MBA from American Jewish University and BA in International Development from UCLA.
